Lack of Food

I can promise that this article is not about a training program or a highly vegetable contained diet which is most likely to NOT followed in the long run. For people who was not introduced to sports or healthy nutrition during their childhood, it is excessively difficult to maintain the willpower to build the necessary habits. As a result, for most people, following a well prepared diet sounds like fighting on an uphill battle. So what actually stops them?

Stress is a form of fear. It is most likely the fear of future which is caused by the painful memories of the past. Human brain's priority is keeping us alive, as I mentioned in many other articles. To keep us alive; brain has to make an evaluation of negative experiences of the past for predicting future outcome of events, even if it is completely nonsense.

Read -> "3 Main Features of Subconscious Mind!!!" for better understanding.

Thousands of years are spent in the woods during stone age and beyond. First humans were having a fight for survival with the wild animals and trying to find the best food resources to keep themselves and their communities alive. Many people lost their lives because of lack of food resources or while trying to get them. In thousands of years, lack of food becomes the new definition of danger. If you don't have enough food, you are in danger or, in the same way, if you are in danger, you don't have enough food!

Two Effects

First, this reality clearly explains the reason of people's quick reaction to look for their solutions in their refrigerator when they are stressed, bored, depressed, pissed off, etc. Any kind of annoying feeling might be a trigger for visiting the kitchen in order to avoid the PAIN. As long as the traumas of the past experiences exist, people will have hard time preventing their instinct for eating excessively.

Second, eating too much, on one hand, can ruin the ones' dream of getting in shape one day. On the other hand, is it going to help the ones who wants to GAIN weight so that they can stop ending up being skinny? In that sense, is it a good thing for the ones who wants to add some pounds on their bodies? NO! When body is not provided with enough food, it tends to store the food as FAT in order that we can survive by burning it once it is needed in the upcoming dangerous future. Now, it is possible to understand why doctors insist on consuming the food in 4 to 6 meals. If you tend to have two meals a day, body will naturally store it like fat as a survival response.

Deal With Stress

In the case of losing weight and getting in shape, importance of dealing with stress is very obvious. Here comes the significance of exercising and meditation. Two renowned anxiety killers, in this way, can indirectly help individuals to finally reach their goals.

Of course, I am not going to deny the prominence of an appropriate training program and diet, apparently. Good nutrition is also an assistant in that battle for getting into your head and suspending the unwanted parts of the past. But without eliminating the stress, you are going to have hard time achieving your goals.
